How it works
The deceased is collected and cared for — cleaned, dressed and gently prepared — and placed into the casket. A simple prayer ceremony may be held before the casket is respectfully sent for cremation. There is no overnight wake, which keeps the process calm and straightforward.
What it costs
A Buddhist direct cremation starts from S$2,288. The cremation fee is separate and charged at cost — S$100 for an adult or S$50 for a child at Mandai Crematorium, or S$436 at Tze Toh Aum Temple, which includes prayers.
Who it suits
